Raikou was introduced in Generation 2 with a pure Electric typing. It is one of the Legendary beasts and it has an ancient relative called Raging Bolt.
Raikou is a quadrupedal, yellow, sabre-toothed feline Pokémon with black stripes and a white underside. It has a zig-zagged light blue tail a long purple mane.
