Tobal No. 1 and Tobal 2 are fighting games developed by DreamFactory and published by Square Enix in Japan (Tobal No. 1 was published by Sony in the rest of the world). I just started playing No. 1 and thought the characters would make cool nicknames. You have a rabbit fighter, a massive blue caped fighter, a weird chicken-looking guy, a robot… classic Japanese gaming weirdness.

Tobal No. 1

  • Chuji - Scrafty, Lucario, Ceruledge (any humanoid Pokémon really)
  • Gren Kuts - shiny Scrafty (because of the green), Gallade, any green Pokémon
  • Epon - Gardevoir, Tsareena, Lopunny, Nidoqueen, Vespiquen, Froslass, Lilligant, Salazzle, Hatterene, Tinkaton, Ogerpon
  • Oliems - Blaziken, Zapdos, Unfezant, Archeops
  • Fei - Drampa, Alakazam
  • Homs - Magearna, Beheeyem, Iron Valiant
  • Ill Goga - Giratina, Houndoom, Gliscor
  • Mary Ivonskaya - same as Epon
  • Mufu - same as Homs, also Snorlax, Bellibolt
  • Nork - Oinkologne, Emboar, Grumpig, Regigigas, Annihilape
  • Udan - Azumarill, Lopunny, Diggersby, Cinderace
