Starmie was introduced in Generation 1 with a dual Water/Psychic typing. Known as the Mysterious Pokémon, it's a purple star shaped Pokémon with a octagonal ruby in the centre of its body surrounded by a yellow octagonal frame.

Starmie can now Mega Evolve into Mega Starmie using the Starminite. The mega evolution was first introduced in Pokémon Legends: Z-A. Its height is 7'07" (2.3 m) but it weighs the same.
