Porygon nicknames

a duck-like Pokémon with a pink and blue polyhedral body

Porygon is a pure Normal-type Pokémon, introduced in Generation 1. It evolves into Porygon2 when traded while holding an Upgrade and finally Porygon-Z when traded while holding a Dubious Disc.

Let’s have a look at its origins and some of my suggested nicknames.

Origins

Porygon is an duck/paper crane-like Pokémon made out code. Its body is polyhedral with a pink head and blue nose, blue legs and tail and a mainly pink torso. It has two hexagonal eyes.

Nicknames

My methodology for nicknames is as follows:

  • I rank nicknames by lettered tiers: S, A, B, and C. S is the best and D is the worst.
  • I’ll usually list my inspiration for a nickname so you know where they came from.
  • These nicknames should also work for its evolutions.
  • Thanks to Jake for the suggestion!
