Melmetal nicknames

Melmetal is a pure Steel-type Pokémon, introduced in Generation 8. It is unique in that it evolves from Meltan exclusively in Pokémon GO when it obtains 400 Meltan Candies.

Let’s have a look at its origins and some of my suggested nicknames.

Origins

Melmetal is a large metallic Pokémon with hex-nuts for joints and a golden hex-nut head as a head and one round its neck. According to its Pokédex entry from Pokémon Shield, centrifugal force is behind the punches of Melmetal’s heavy hex-nut arms. Melmetal is said to deliver the strongest punches of all Pokémon.

Nicknames

My methodology for nicknames is as follows:

  • I rank nicknames by lettered tiers: S, A, B, and C. S is the best and D is the worst.
  • I’ll usually list my inspiration for a nickname so you know where they came from.
