Origins and data

  • Ability: Pressure
  • Hidden Ability: Flash Fire (Gen 5–6); Inner Focus (since Gen 7)
  • Height: 6'11" or 2.1 m
  • Weight: 436.5 lbs. or 198.0 kg

Entei was introduced in Generation 2 with a pure Fire typing. Known as the Volcano Pokémon, it's a lion-like Pokémon with canine qualities. It has brown fur, a long grey smoke cloud running along its back, and spikey grey plates coming out of either side. Just above its paws are four black cuff-like bands.

Entei also has a Past Paradox relative called Gouging Fire.
